I was born in Bangladesh but grew up in the East End of London. I identify myself as British (Anglo) Bengali..

I have western values and attitude with Sylheti values and attitude; “anglheti (Anglo + Sylheti) ”valutude” (value + attitude). As a result of my upbringing with the British education and Sylheti culture, life has been very colourful and eventful.

The experiences of growing up in the East End of London has enriched me and still is.

So much has happened in my life that I have questioned and I am still looking for answers...
